TEMPLATE LETTERS

This template letter provides the necessary structure to formally apply the Section 41 exemption, specifically for situations where a headteacher's refusal references your child's IPD. It guides you in directing this crucial application to your Local Authority for review.

This template can be used by all children in Wales. It formally requests the headteacher to apply the Section 42 exemption, disapplying RSE for 6 months – a right available to all children. Remember, your child has the right to make this application themselves.
