Scott Jones

My time is devoted to helping others in need and spending quality time with my wife and son, we love outdoor, fun, activities. I became a County Councillor in 2008 serving the people of Cymmer Ward. I became a member of the Labour Party at the age of fifteen before becoming an Independent Councillor in 2018 and is grateful for the support I have received from a number of his fellow Ward Councillors, who I count as his friends as well as colleagues. I very much values the many friendships I have made within my Ward and across the County Borough through various meetings and committees over time. I became Deputy Mayor of Neath Port Talbot in 2017 and Mayor in 2019 – A position I currently still hold.
