Director

I am a mother and grandmother residing in the Caernarfon area of North Wales. My primary background is in education, and I am a fully accredited teacher and trainer in Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE). I am a licensed Rockpool facilitator for PAACE (Positive and Adverse Childhood Experiences) trauma-informed recovery. My teaching experience includes working in secondary schools, a community college, and teaching Welsh in the workplace. Additionally, I have been a home tutor for students unable to attend school for various reasons, often related to mental health conditions. At times, I have felt disheartened by some of their outcomes and the lack of support available. I believe I have learned more from some of my students than they have from me, and I see life as a continuous process of reassessment and openness to others' stories and influences. I have also worked as a home-help and support worker for individuals with learning difficulties. I find great joy in witnessing people thrive and reach their potential, in whatever form that may take, and I believe there are many paths to becoming a fulfilled person. I aspire to live in a world where every child can achieve this and become the happiest and most successful adult possible. This is why I am proud to be part of this movement. I cannot bear the thought of a society where our most vulnerable members are not properly cared for and protected.
