Join us for our annual sponsored Skateathon on Saturday 25 July 2026, from 9:00am to 9:00pm along Aberavon Promenade. A fun-filled event for all ages and abilities, with skates, bikes, scooters and more all welcome. Remember, it's not about how far or how fast you go – taking part is what counts!

About the event
Join us for our annual Sponsored Skateathon and take on the challenge along the beautiful Aberavon Promenade. Whether you're on skates, a bike, scooter, skateboard, wheelchair, or any other non-motorised wheels, everyone is welcome to take part.
This is not a race. It doesn't matter how far you travel or how many laps you complete – it's taking part that counts. Come along, challenge yourself, have fun, and help support a great community event.
You can arrive at your leisure and leave at your leisure throughout the day. Stay for an hour or stay for the full twelve hours – the choice is yours.
Bring a packed lunch and refreshments, or join us for a fish and chip delivery from a local business during the day. There will be plenty of opportunities to relax, socialise, and enjoy everything the area has to offer.
